New Rebecca Abby French Creek Mystery!

  The second of Mrs. Pilegard’s French Creek Mysteries, Dances with Butterflies is now available. Flames of wildfire in tribal lands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains uncover prejudice, murder and love too intense to extinguish. 
Fall 2013 marked the publication of Loving Sunny, Virginia Walton Pilegard’s first contemporary mystery romance for grownups. You’ll find Dances with Butterflies and Loving Sunny , Goat Mountain Books, under Virginia’s pseudonym, Rebecca Abby. Many stories of mystery and romance have been set in Navaho Country and the lands of the Arapaho and the Lakota. Loving Sunny is set in the tribal homeland of California’s  Mono and Chuckchansi where the author was raised.

    Dear Virginia, I am a member of Fig Garden Woman’ Club in Fresno,Ca. I heard your presentation a couple of years ago and bought several books. We are going to have a fun raiser to support several organization to help children. We are using authors from Fresno, but I was so impressed with your presentation and your beautiful books plus your story of how you became a writer that I really would like you to be a part of our presenters.       Oh! Ni hao! I was just thinking tonight about the excitement this time last year! Thanks to you, Tamsin and I had the trip of a lifetime visiting four of the International Schools in China. Wearing the scarf you two picked out brings back such happy memories. I will be excited to share your “pockets of popcorn” journey with you.
